Venerable Gavesi was ordained by the late Sayadaw U Pandita in Myanmar in 2001. For over 20 years, Ven. Gavesi has been practising both Samatha and Vipassana bhāvanā under various teachers like Sayadaw U Pandita, Sayadaw Nyanapurnik & Ven. Sujiva. He has led many retreats in Malaysia & overseas.
